Nizhoni Way Apparel was founded in 2002 by Dwayne Clauschee of Canyon De Chelly, AZ. A member of the Diné tribe, Dwayne has
provided his community with exceptional fashions at the fraction of the price. Dwayne has also served as a contributor (The Miami Herald
and The Washington Times) to press as a local fashion correspondent (The Navajo-Hopi Observer) for Native American fashion shows.

In 1996, Dwayne Clauschee started attending The American Intercontinental University to study fashion design. Studying under the
tutelage of highly-skilled instructors, Dwayne studied such subjects as women's, men's, & children's wear in the areas of ready-to-wear,
evening wear, sports wear, tailoring, and costume design. While attending The American Intercontinental University in Los Angeles,
Dwayne worked as a freelance designer in Hollywood while working behind the scenes as a fashion dresser for such design houses as
Halston and Escada.
